Too many investors become obsessed with being right, even when the gains are small. Winning big and cutting your losses when you're wrong are more important than being right

So, P&G trades at 17x EBITDA. Honest trades at 90x forward EBITDA. Honest would have to grow EBITDA at something like 40% CAGR over the next 5 years to reach that valuation based on today's price. Not impossible but IMO not a done deal either.

comparing price to sales ratios between honest and P&G is not a fair comparison. just saying

Could be good play but it's still a big risk factor buying a company like that at the current market situation…

We don't need the Honest Company…

I don’t think Jeremy tried Honest products. Their juice taste watery my kids hate it and Honest sunblock is ridiculous; it turns watery and unusable after few month of opening the the bottle.

Jeremy, I know you’re honest, but it’s a bad look to pump small-cap stocks that you already own.

What happens to stock if the company gets bought out?

Reply
Austin Gotwalt 14/10/2021 - 2:41 AM

I don't think Honest will ever be in Walmart because their products are on the expensive side

The big problem is that most people pay more attention to the shiniest positions on the graph to the cost of proper diversification, making investing look a lot more difficult. Having monitored my portfolio performance smashing a jaw dropping $280,000 from the last 2 quarters, I have learned why experienced traders make enormous returns from the seemingly unknown markets.

got 47 stocks in my portfolio. Have only 5 that have negative returns the rest are up 50 to 75 percent. The list of losers are as follows. 1.ttcf only down 50 cents (not bad) 2. planet 13 down almost 20 percent(wtf).3.CRSR down just 50 cents(not bad),4 gld down 10 percent(wtf) .5 bp only down 5 percent(not bad). 3 of these stocks I got here….hmmmm. is reality. NO lie

They paid 35 million in dividends last quarter pre-ipo, nice! In addition, 6.6 million in stock based compensation. That's a lot of cash burnt for such a small company and then they raise 90 million lol Good thing the credit facility should restrict future dividends. So far they have just been decreasing share holder value.
