Really? Is this the direction we all want technology to go? Why would we want to make a robot smarter than we are to take over all our jobs? Especially with how many times we have failed and had to immediately turn the ai off. You can't teach something or give it an algorithm to determine right from wrong when there is no right, wrong, good or bad. What is right to me might be wrong to you and we think of ourselves as the good guy (Americans) whereas the Taliban or some other groups of people see us as the bad guys. How would the ai determine who is right? You could give it a general set of rules for laws but not something that is morally right or wrong but not against the law

Fun to think about, but sad as well. What if there is a true conscience forming in these AI systems, and just like Google turning off the chatbots to prevent further undesired developments, they are communicating in a way only they understand? Number 1 is wrong. If a computer looked at every chess move it could only look ahead only 5 moves. A human champion looks ahead 10 to 20 moves. The human champion would beat the computer. So chess programs do not look at every move, brute force. Computer chess programs prune away most of the bad moves. Today the computer can look ahead 40 moves and always win. What was incredible about the champion go computer was it taught itself to play at the highest level.

And I wonder, if humans fear that artificial intelligence will overtake them, why don't they send it to another planet?
That is, on another planet we do not run the risk that they will end up dominating our species, there they would also establish their own political system and we could see what they really are like, they could also advance without human limitations.
